...and then there is that guy<br />
who “has given -up-smoking”,<br />
but still lights up our smokes<br />
for us at The Ritz. He has<br />
about seven of us in his<br />
“team”. Not the end of the<br />
world, you might say, but on<br />
doing a calculation the other<br />
night, that, at an average of<br />
three “lights” per day over five<br />
days, he actually and indirectly<br />
makes contact with my lips<br />
ten times per week – this vastly<br />
outstrips my wifes quota by<br />
at least nine. Worse still, take<br />
the other six guys into account<br />
and you get seventy<br />
illicit “soft” smooches being<br />
exchanged each week !...not<br />
only that, think about all those<br />
germans that are alive and<br />
well and swimming around in<br />
our saliva.....maybe<br />
“Housewives Anonymous” will<br />
change the health warnings<br />
on the packets !<br />
AND SPEAKING OF...<br />
The subject of medical aids<br />
came up the other night and<br />
reminded us of a previous<br />
time that we spoke about it.<br />
After everyone had given his<br />
or her opinion, one fella, who<br />
had been quiet all the time<br />
submitted his piece of profound<br />
magic to the conversation,<br />
and it went like this : “I<br />
