MTA CERTIFICATION & HACKATHON<br />
CONFERENCE ON “NANOTECHNOLOGY<br />
Microsoft innovation center has successfully organized one week Training Program on Windows 8.1 &<br />
10 Store App Development, MTA Certification & Hackathon with 161 students of II & III Year Students.<br />
As a part of Training Program, students learnt the technology and got certified with Microsoft<br />
Technology Associate (MTA). Hackathon was organized, in which the participants have developed a<br />
total of 49 Apps, which will be published to BVRIT Windows Store by 15th of October 2016. The Jury has<br />
decided the top best 3 Apps and the respective team members were given the Internship Opportunities,<br />
Prizes, Appreciation & Merit Certificates.<br />
The 2ND INDO-GULF INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON “NANOTECHNOLOGY - From Basic<br />
Research to Nanomedicines” was conducted by Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Bhimavaram on 2<br />
September 2016. Dr. Bakthi Bhusan Barik, Professor, College of Pharmacy, Jazan University, Jazan,<br />
Saudi Arabia, gave a presentation on “Nanotechnology-based Drug Delivery Systems”. Dr. Muralidhar,<br />
Principal, Maheswara College of Pharmacy, Hyd<strong>era</strong>bad, gave a presentation on “Applications of<br />
Nanotechnology”.<br />
FIRST BEST PAPER<br />
Dr. A. Malya and Dr. R. Anusha II MDS,<br />
Department of Prosthodontics attended<br />
“44th Indian Prosthodontic Society<br />
Conference” held at Navi Mumbai from<br />
1 to 4 December 2016 and won the First<br />
Best Paper of the respective sessions for<br />
their paper presentations in the<br />
Conference.<br />

Dr. Y. Hasita Manaswini, II MDS, Department of<br />
Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry attended<br />
“38th National Conference of Indian Society of<br />
Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry” held at<br />
Kochi during 20 - 22 October 2016 and won<br />
Best Scientific Presentation Award for her<br />
paper presentation at the Conference.<br />

The students of Smt. B. Seetha Polytechnic<br />
received Prathibha awards for the<br />
excellence in their studies on the birth<br />
anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.<br />
These awards are affiliated to State Board<br />
of Technical Education and Training,<br />
Amaravathi, for excellence in diploma<br />
examination 2016. They received this<br />
award by the state government of Andhra<br />
Pradesh. The students got Rs.20,000/-<br />
prize money, a gold medal and also a Tablet<br />
which can use for their educational<br />

Vishnu Pharmacy Institutions, graced the occasion. Dr. K Prasad, Principal, Shri Vishnu College of<br />
Pharmacy, Vishnupur, Bhimavaram (West Godavari District, AP) presided over the conference.<br />

K.Saikiran and D.Shivani of IIIrd year of Civil Engineering, BVRIT N participated in NCC Parade from<br />
3.10.2016 to 13.10.2016; Annual Training Camp (ATC) organized by 2(T) Air Squadron Technical,<br />
secured 1st Prize in Running (100m) and 2nd Prize in Relay (400m) respectively.
