@ Coimbatore WINNING 'BEST BUSINESS PLAN AWARD'<br />
JUNO RACERS… a complete women's team from Shri Vishnu Engineering College for<br />
Women (Autonomous) began its debut journey with Vishnu Karting Championship<br />
in January 2016 and achieved 'Best Business Plan Award' among 21 teams from all<br />
over India. This achievement boosted the morale of team members and the journey<br />
continued even to 'Indian Karting Championship' organized by Imperial Society of<br />
Innovative Engineers-ISIE in August 2016 with a team of 25 girls representing Shri<br />
Vishnu Engineering College for Women (autonomous) to prove the caliber of women<br />
mechanical engineers. This was a National level Go-karting event which had 53<br />
teams from nook and corner of the country to test their talent in engineering skills.<br />
The team proved its mettle. The team won Best Business Plan Award worth of 10,000<br />
rupees cash prize and a trophy.<br />
In the competition 'Indian Karting Championship' the team got 'Best Accel<strong>era</strong>tion &<br />
Braking Award' worth of 10,000 cash prize and a trophy. The team also received 'ISIE<br />
Future Award' worth of 40,000 cash prize and a trophy. In its ov<strong>era</strong>ll performance, the<br />
team stood in III Place amongst 53 teams that participated in the competition.<br />
