The Velvia entered the market with only one<br />
speed—ISO 50—and seeing as my focus at<br />
the time was snapshots, I had little opportunity<br />
to use this reversal film. I nevertheless did<br />
employ it for such subjects as landscapes,<br />
still lifes, and architecture because of its<br />
excellent granularity and a resolution capable<br />
of capturing edges in the minutest details. If I<br />
had to use it for snapshots I usually pushed it<br />
to +1 and shot at ISO 100.<br />
