He was handed over to the police and the stolen goods were returned, operations manager Willie Reynecke told <strong>The</strong> <strong>Rep</strong>. On Thursday morning, response officers attended to a panic alarm at a store where the owner was robbed of cash and goods by three suspects. <strong>The</strong>y were able to apprehend one and recovered some of the cash which was returned and the suspect handed over to the police. That afternoon security officers at another store apprehended a suspect who had attempted to purchase goods with a false note and also tried to rob a woman in front of the store. On Friday, security officers at the same supermarket as Tuesday’s incident apprehended another suspect for theft. He, too, was handed to the police. That afternoon officers responded to a call for help from the police after a woman was robbed of a large amount of cash by five suspects in Calderwood Street. <strong>The</strong>y apprehended all five and recovered most of the cash which was returned and the suspects handed over.
