The first letter or number one Alef has no sound, yet in Hebrew it is written as a Person “the Great I AM”. This represents the Ein - the Nirguna Brahman which extends to Ein Sof as the root of all realities . Since Alef has no sound, the first reality is expressed by the first and the second letters of Hebrew together which is the word Ab or Av which simply means Father.
