EXTREME CHALLENGES
Kitefoiling Around Sardinia: Enrico Giordano and Luca Marcis flying around Sardinia
depart early June 2017 using
a weather window of a couple
of weeks. They will actually
try to accomplish the
challenge in 5-7 days, it will
depend on the wind, but the
hydrofoil performances are
on their side. They will have
to cover a total of approximately
500 nautical miles
for a total of 1.000 kilometres
sailing within a mile
from the coast along a counterclockwise
course which
will start at Marina Piccola
in Cagliari, at the Windsurfing
Club Cagliari, where the
two riders will try to return
by June 20th.

PARKS
They will pass the most
beautiful beaches in Sardinia,
including protected marine
areas and national parks
and make strategic stops
not only to rest, but also to
meet the local institutions
and public, make the sport
known, tell the beauties of
the territory and spread the
culture of the sea. During
the various stages, the two
riders will stop in Villasimius,
Tavolara, Archipelago of
La Maddalena, Isle of Asinara,
Capo Caccia, the Sinis
Peninsula and the Island of
Mal di Ventre.

stages of about 100 miles
at an average speed of 20
