Next year Miss Cawley will take on the role of Year Leader for Year 8 but will
remain with York house for inter-house competitions.
The following members of staff will make up the Year 8 team:
Head of Achievement – Mr U Hussain
Leader of Year 8 – Miss L Cawley
8 Normandy – Mr S Drake
8 Tudor – Mr A Kitching
8 Windsor – Miss S Allen
8 York – Miss N Johnston
8 Hanover – Mr K Ferguson
Year 8 are led by Mr Hussain (Head of Achievement) and Miss Cawley (Leader of
Year 8).
Mr Hussain is responsible for overseeing the academic progress of Year 8,
ensuring each student fulfils their potential with support from staff and parents.
Miss Cawley oversees behaviour, attendance, wellbeing and any safeguarding
issues that may arise.
Mr Hussain and Miss Cawley will work with the team of Academic Tutors outlined
above.
Your child’s Tutor is the first point of contact for parents, and will liaise with Mr
Hussain, Miss Cawley and other relevant staff to ensure students are well
supported.
