TRADE DEADLINE - Wed., Aug. 16 at 5 PM. All
confirmed trades will be final and will be processed
immediately after both involved parties have confirmed
through PROCOM.
CONTESTANT ENTRANCE - Follow signs off of 10th
Avenue to enter rodeo grounds.
ALL EVENTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the
finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release, or visible
injury release through PROCOM, the contestant
with the next highest ranking in the average may be
contacted by PROCOM and placed in that available
position. Non-notified turn-outs and visible injury
releases after the turn- out deadline will not be
replaced. If the next highest ranked contestant is
not available to accept the position the next highest
ranked contestant may be contacted and placed in
that position. This procedure will be followed until
all positions are filled. The replacement contestant’s
competition order will be based on his ranking in the
average (not on the ranking of the contestant that he
is replacing). In the riding events, if an animals has
already been drawn for a contestant who has turnedout,
the replacement contestant will draw an animal
from a pool consisting of all animals that have been
turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) and the first
available designated re-ride.
TD, TR - Two go-rounds. Back to back. W/F’s. The
first go-round for each back to back group will start
at 1 PM each day (Aug. 22-25). The second goround
will begin during slack immediately following
the completion of the first go-round (depending on
the number of entries) and will conclude during the
performance that night.
SW - Two go-rounds (not back to back). W/F’s. The
first go-round will begin during slack at 1 PM on Tues.,
Aug. 22 and will end during the performance that
night. The second go-round will begin during slack at 1
PM on Wed., Aug. 23.
QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 48 minimum
entries. W’/F’s (12). $5,000 held out for finals. No
compensation. No slack.

COMPETITION FORMAT - 40 minimum entries. One
go-round with top 12 finals (will not exceed 12). May
be two go- rounds, back to back, same performance
with no finals, depending on the number of entries. If
there are not 12 qualified rides, all remaining positions
will be filled by random draw (by the judges). If the
12th contestant is tied going into the final round, the
tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break
the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who
advances to the finals.
IN ORDER OF SELECTION: 70% top money, 30% top
circuit.
NOTIFY PROCOM: Notification must be made at
the time of entry if claiming an exemption from
qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must
have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty
(20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2016
rodeo year. No medical exemptions will be accepted
for events whose entries close on or after July 15th.
A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an
X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at
another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the
X-Bulls Event.
CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena
secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure
to do so will result in an alternate contestant being
selected and allowed to compete.
ALTERNATES: Only contestants that were drawn out
due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as
alternates. Alternates will be selected based on 2017
money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closings).
Contestants who are placed in a position at another
PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme
Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an
alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and
were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call
the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the
performance to confirm their availability and desire to
be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume
the competition position of the contestant that he is
replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive
the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant
notifies a turn-out or V.I.R and is replaced by an
alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible
for the entry fees. The rodeo will not count toward
the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant.
If the contestant that notified the turn-out or V.I.R is
not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for
the entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the
official rodeo count. Any non- notified turn-out will
be responsible for entry fees and the rodeo will count
towards the official rodeo count, even if he is replaced.
The alternate will also be responsible for entry fees.
If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be
responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied
to his official rodeo count.
STOCK DRAW: Selection of the bulls for the finals will
be accomplished by mutual agreement among the
event representative or his duly designated appointee,
the primary stock contractor, and a judge designated
by the Supervisor of Pro Officials. Contestants
who qualify for the finals may be requested by the
committee to draw their own animal from a hat
containing poker chips inscribed with animals’
numbers in the arena or other designated area prior
to the finals. This determination may be based on
production factors.
RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made,
any remaining available animals that have been notified
as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used
prior to using the designated re-ride(s).
PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior
to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will
be determined on highest marked scores. 30% of the
total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays
8 places. 20% of the total purse will be allocated to the
final go-round, pays 6 places. 50% of the total purse
will be allocated to the average, pays 8 places. ALL
PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE RULEBOOK. In the event that there are not
enough qualified rides in the first go-round, a random
draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill
the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who
did not have a qualified score in the first go-round
and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not
be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any
contestant in the finals will count toward PRCA World
standings (provided the contestant has entered and
competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos),
Xtreme Bulls Tour standings, and Rookie of the Year
standings. Money won by a drawn back contestant
in the finals will not count toward the All Around
standings, All American standings, circuit standings, or
toward a circuit rodeo count.
NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls
competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to
count for the 2017 National Finals Rodeo or the 2017
Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2017 season,
a contestant must have entered and competed at a
minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will
count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls
Standings. It will not count All Around, All American or
circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. EF’s
$100 EF plus $35 Central Entry Office/Supplemental
Insurance fee ($135 total).
