Frank Young Pryce is a Lake Charles, La.,
native born to the late Dr. Ulric W. and
Beatrice Young Pryce. He is the second of
five children and is currently married to
Delores R. Pryce.
He was a graduate of Sacred Heart of
Jesus Catholic School in Lake Charles,
La., and attended Dillard University in
New Orleans, La., for his undergraduate
degree studies. He later graduated
from the Howard University, School of
Pharmacology in Washington, D.C (1953),
and is a United States Army Veteran.
He is a third-generation owner and
manager of Pryce’s Pharmacy in Lake
Charles, La., established in 1908 by his
grandfather, Dr. George S. Pryce, serving
this community for over 100 years.
Mr. Pryce says, “African Americans need
more ‘Leadership’ as mentors throughout
all the communities that they live in,
whether North, South, East or West.
