Youth Athletics<br />
The Dixie Boys Baseball<br />
Tournament has come to<br />
an end. Both the 13U and<br />
14U teams were defeated<br />
in their respectable<br />
tournament bracket.<br />
The 13U team received an<br />
award during the tournament for their great sportsmanship.<br />
Football practices are now full swing with 11 teams participating in the Golden Strip<br />
Football League this year. Fall softball / baseball registration has closed - practice will<br />
begin Monday, <strong>August</strong> 7. Coaches will be fielding teams in Softball Minors, Coach<br />
Pitch, Minors, Majors, and 13-14 Boys.<br />
Coaches for Characters will be a focal point for players and coaches for football and fall<br />
softball / baseball this month. <strong>Mauldin</strong> Lacrosse Camp inaugural year was succesful.<br />
The campers trained with coaches and players from <strong>Mauldin</strong> High School.<br />
