Daisy Drama Club : Spotlight!

It was the Daisy Drama Club’s first rehearsal for
Red Riding Hood. Sophie and Cressida, who were best
of best friends and both loved drama, lived in the
village of Wissop where there was no drama group
or stage school or acting classes or performances of
any kind whatsoever. So they had had the brilliant
idea of setting up the Daisy Drama Club so they
could put on plays themselves and actually do some
acting instead of pretending to do some acting.
Sophie and Cressie had spent a very short time
choosing their next play after the drama of their first
performance, A Christmas Carol.
‘I think we should do a fairy story this time.
Something that everyone already knows so we can
add lots of bits and bobs to make it fun.’
‘We need good characters though.’
‘And a good baddy.’
