I am very fortunate to be surrounded by amazing people who
inspire me to be greater and I am sincerely grateful for each of
them.
3. FEAR
Fear is a very real vision killer and it can reveal itself in many
different ways. It can reveal itself as the fear of failure, or the fear
of the effort required for success, or the fear of your competition,
and/or the fear of leaving what you know for the unknown. Fear
will always rise to the surface when you try to do something new.
However, fear is not real!
Can you imagine allowing your vision to die over the fear of
something that doesn’t even exist?
One of my favorite quotes is, “Most people die at 25 but wait to be
buried at 70.” Cemeteries around the world are full of people who
died with their dreams still inside of them because of fear. If you
still have a pulse, you still have a purpose and the opportunity to
live out the dream God has placed inside of you.
4. FAILURE
Over the years I have realized failure is never final unless you quit!
Failure should be a welcomed part of growth. Unfortunately, most
people do not equate failure as a part of success and have
interpreted their own previous failures as indicative of their
potential- thus hindering the pursuit of their own vision.
If you allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the emotions that rise
to the surface as a result of failing you will lose sight of the
blessing failure is. Refuse to allow failure to hinder you from
realizing your vision. In fact, it is because of failure your vision can
be realized.
5. FATIGUE
Fatigue is a normal part of the human experience and when we are
tired, exhausted in some cases, we make bad decisions. Everything
tends to be magnified 10x when we are fatigued.
