Carol Ann Moore<br />

Carol Ann Moore, 75, of<br />

Orland Park, died on Jan.<br />

7. She was born in Chicago<br />

on Jan. 3, 1943, to Leonard<br />

and Louise Moore. She<br />

dedicated her life to the Lord<br />

through service to others.<br />

She provided loving care to<br />

her parents, sisters, brothersin-law<br />

and friends during<br />

illnesses and at death. She<br />

taught elementary grades at<br />

St. Agnes School in Springfield,<br />

St. Michael School<br />

in Orland Park, and Lee R.<br />

Foster Elementary School<br />

in Oak Forest. At the third<br />

school, she also served as an<br />

assistant principal. She was<br />

a faithful member of St. Julie<br />

Billiart Church in Tinley<br />

Park, and of St. Columcille<br />

Church in Sullivan. A conversationalist,<br />

a host and a<br />

giver in so many ways, Carol<br />

blessed the lives of her beloved<br />

family and many dear<br />

friends. She was preceded in<br />

death by her parents; sisters,<br />

Elaine Kohler and Camille<br />

Korabik; brothers-in-law,<br />

Vernon Kohler and John<br />

Korabik; and nephew, Mark<br />

Kohler. She is survived by<br />

a nephew, Jeff (Maureen)<br />

Kohler; great-nieces, Emily,<br />

Kathleen (John), Clare<br />

(Sean) and Madeline; and<br />

great-great niece and nephew,<br />

Rachel and Timothy.<br />

She cherished her lifelong<br />

friendships with the Rev.<br />

John Sohm and Marge Del-<br />

Priore. Giving of herself<br />

completely, even in death,<br />

she requested that her body<br />

be given to the Gift of Hope<br />

and to the Anatomical Gift<br />

Association of Illinois. Memorials<br />

may be made to either<br />

of these organizations.<br />

A Memorial Mass was to be<br />

held at St. Julie Billiart. A<br />

second memorial service is<br />

to be celebrated in Sullivan<br />

at a future date.<br />

Peter Plante<br />

Peter A. Plante, 65, of<br />

Frankfort, died on Jan. 11.<br />

He was an amazing husband<br />

to his wife, Patty, and a great<br />

dad to his three sons, a fun<br />

loving brother to his three<br />

siblings and loving Papa<br />

to his seven grandchildren.<br />

Known as “Uncle Pete” to<br />

so many nieces and nephews,<br />

friends, and especially<br />

to the children at the school<br />

he worked at in the maintenance<br />

department, Plante<br />

was known for his loyalty,<br />

love of family and a crazy<br />

sense of humor. For most of<br />

hiss life he worked as a furniture<br />

technician, restoring<br />

and refinishing furniture and<br />

served at his church for over<br />

30 years.<br />

every moment spent with<br />
