We are looking for a chef to take us to the
next level in providing dining experiences
for a fifty-five-bed rest home and for
our retirement village. We are looking
for a person who can create a tasty
range of meals with choice and highly
presentable to residents. We are looking
to establish a fine dining experience for
all residents, their guests, families, and
staff.
Our menu is currently developed by a
dietitian with input from the residents and
staff.
The facility is HACCP certified and is
working towards meeting the new food
safety legislation.
The role includes:
Management: managing the day-today
catering operation and becoming
part of the senior Management team.
Supplies: maintaining required stock
levels and ordering supplies.
Staffing: leading and directing
catering staff, rostering, supervising and
approving time sheets.
Quality Programme: participate and
contribute to our quality programme
Days and hours of work Sunday –
Thursday, usual shifts 7am – 3pm.

meaningful activities and experiences that
