in perfect harmony

for the senses. This multimedia
production of visual projections
and music, presented
by the Peninsula Music Club,
brings together the paintings
Monet created at Giverny during
the Great War – including
his Japanese Bridges, Water
Lilies, Weeping Willows, and
the Alley of Roses – alongside
music written in 1914-1918
by serving or volunteering
French composers such as
Debussy, Ravel, Koechlin and
Boulanger. The production on
May 12 at St Luke’s Grammar
School, Bayview, will feature
flautist Jane Rutter (pictured)
and distinguished guest artists
including tenor Andrew
Goodwin, pianist Tamara-
Anna Cislowska, cellist David
Pereira and violinist Christopher
Latham. The performance
starts at 8pm; tickets
are $25, with students under
18 $10 (or free if accompanied
by an adult). A sparkling wine
supper will be served after the
performance with a chance to
meet the artists.

Kylie on board
at Easylink
Former Deputy Mayor of Pittwater
Kylie Ferguson is one
of six new volunteer board
members of northern beaches
community transport provider
Easylink. The new members
will complement long-serving
board members, helping the
not-for-profit community
organisation, which serves
transport disadvantaged
residents such as seniors and
people with disability, gear up
for expansion. Ms Ferguson
said she volunteered for the
role as she believes in giving
back to the community, and
is particularly passionate
about helping both youth and
seniors. “I’ve seen the pleasure

mystery tours bring to our
older residents,” she said.
The service also provides
community transport for
people who are temporarily
incapacitated and unable to
use other transport, and free
public transport travel training
services for anyone who
needs help using public transport
on their own. The other
new board members are: Jay
Zmijewski, Operations Director
at Forest Coach Lines;
Jane Mulroney, a community
and stakeholder engagement
expert with local and state
government experience; Debbie
Organ, a financial services
executive known for her stand
on ethical business practices
and community work, who
came across Easylink’s services
while helping a lost elderly
lady get home; Leeanne
Gray, an Executive Manager
at Westpac Institutional Bank
brings senior change management,
leadership and business
improvement expertise; and
Margaret Hardy, who has extensive
management experience
in the health sector, from
prevention to palliative care.
