Dairy–free sources of calcium<br />

Toddlers with CMA need good dairy-free sources of calcium<br />
to help them develop strong teeth and bones. Consuming<br />
500 ml of Nutramigen per day will provide all the calcium<br />
they need between the ages of 1 and 3 years. Other good<br />
sources include dark green leafy vegetables, such as kale and<br />
broccoli, and ‘fortified’ products, including some breakfast<br />
cereals and fruit juices (although juices should be diluted<br />
and ideally given only at meal times, as they contain natural<br />
sugars and acids that could damage teeth).<br />
