Seven Lakes Marine “A Family Affair...”<br />
Veteran, Jeff Bennett opened<br />
Seven Lakes Marine in 1999. He<br />
moved to the Sandhills area to be<br />
closer to his family and knew that<br />
West End would benefi t from a marine<br />
store complete with engine<br />
repair and a wide range of products<br />
to choose from when remodeling<br />
or servicing customers boats.<br />
Jeff’s background had been in automotive<br />
mechanics previous to<br />
his enlistment in the armed forces<br />
where he gained extensive experience<br />
working on F-16 fi ghter jets.<br />
After deciding to open up the marine<br />
business in Seven Lakes, he<br />
went back to school to gain his factory<br />
authorized certifi cation for Mercury<br />
Marine, Yamaha, MerCruiser,<br />
Volva and Penta marine products.<br />
In addition they provide all service<br />
and sales for Ray Electric Motors,<br />
Minn Kota Trolling Motors,<br />
Hewitt Boat Lifts, Load Rite trailers<br />
and sell Interstate Batteries.<br />
Jeff and his team can service, repair<br />
and rebuild any outboard or inboard<br />
motor and they are not limited to boats.<br />
Jeff and his associates at their large<br />
marine facility can do a wide array of<br />
marine engine repairs as well as complete<br />
overhauls with affordable pricing.<br />
Jeff and his team have rebuilt<br />
50 to 60 engines since opening.<br />
Seven Lakes Marine offers a variety of<br />
services in addition to engine repair.<br />
They sells parts, lifts and engines,<br />
and provide quality pontoon restoration,<br />
sell boats on consignment<br />
basis and offer shrink wrap boat storage.<br />

They also have multiple suppliers<br />
with many choices of vinyls including<br />
MariDeck, Infi nity and Aqua Tread,<br />
for their pontoon and boat restoration<br />
business and recently added<br />
top of the line Corinthian to the list.<br />

with vinyl they are the people<br />
to call. Seven Lakes Marine can<br />
detail and clean all the part of your<br />
pontoon boat, replace and fi x fl ooring<br />
and do a complete make over.<br />
Seven Lakes Marine has 5 employees<br />
and don’t forget about their<br />
mascot dog, Molly. On staff they<br />
have three Marine Technicians,<br />
Jeff, Jerry and Brandon, all with<br />
vast knowledge and experience in<br />
various motors and mechanics.<br />
While visiting their shop you will also<br />
see, Sue the Offi ce Manager and Marsha<br />
their Scheduling and Showroom<br />
Expert. They believe in doing the job<br />
as if it was being done for themselves.<br />
They always take great efforts<br />
to make accurate estimates<br />
and always keep their customers<br />
informed during the process.<br />
