Joanne has already taken on a year’s worth of
challenges, but her final showdown? The London
Marathon in April.
She said: “I felt strained towards the end of last year.
I said to my husband ‘What should I do next? And he
said I think you need a break.’
“My last event was in November, and my next one is
the St Helens 10K on Sunday, March 4.
“Dad is a big supporter so he is always on the side
lines and where possible gets involved.
“But with the fact he had a heart attack, we tell him
to take it easy.
