Mike Karg :: Born in New
York grown up in Switzerland,
Mike KARG has the best of both
worlds. 28 + years ago he started
in the Industry and long before
you knew, he flew between LA
and NY working with Celebrities,
Photographers and Directors.
Sharon Stone, Marisa Tomei just to
name a few got dry hair cuts and
NBC week-end show loved KARG
explaining and demonstrating “real
live makeovers”.
In 1999 he designed his first
DryHairCut Shear which took the
industry by storm. He is the owner
of KARG Inc. New York and KARG
Hairstyling + Products Switzerland.
Mike KARG’s focus now is educating
hairstylists across America and
Europe the KARG DryHairCut
philosophy. A very practical
haircutting system with no fuzz.
In 2010 he started the KARG +
BLACKWELL Academy NYC.
KARG works in 5 different hair
salons, where he sees clients and
cuts dry hair of course.
Sherry Ratay :: Sherry
Ratay is an internationally
acclaimed, award-winning color
expert and salon owner. She
taught for Redken for seven years,
and is currently a color educator
for INOA L’Oreal Professional.
Sherry is a member of the Joico
Color Council as well as Team
Minardi. Sherry travels all over the
country to train and educate other
professionals. She has shared
her 20 years of expertise with the
readers of Vogue, Salon Today,
BehindTheChair, Modern Salon
and others, and was named the
#1 Hair Colorist in Central Florida
by Orlando Magazine, where her
luxurious Salon Ratay is located.

creative. A well-accomplished and

teacher who openly shares his vision
and inspiration with others. From
highly polished long hairdressing
to daring and avant garde catwalk
creations, you too will be impressed
and inspired!
