New Ayurveda Lifestyle Centre
in L'Eliana - Miracle Healing
Xclusive
interview
So I heard about Ayurveda from my
travels to India, but I wasn't really sure
what it was all about, so I thought that
the best way to find out was to go along
to the Ayurveda Lifestyle centre in
L'Eliana, near Valencia and find out for
myself.
Bharat Negi and his wife Kalpana invited
me to their healing centre to experience
an Ayurveda massage, their delicious
cuisine and great hospitality.Over the
last 14 years, Bharat Negi has treated
over 10,000 clients, so I wanted to get to
know them better and understand why
people are flocking to experience their
healing treatments.
The interview started with a loud crash
in the back garden, I looked around to
see a big sign hanging off a tree which
said “Om. Relax”.
[That just made me start to laugh!]
Richard: “So how did you get into
healing?”
Bharat: “It was my mother who inspired
us to get into healing when we were
children. We grew up in India, and came
from Himachal Pradesh in the
mountains. Basically, we start learning
Ayurveda from home. An Indian
(kitchen) is a Herbosteria.”
Kalpana: “When you finish school you
have to go straight into medicine or
Ayurveda. It is not your decision, it is
either 6 years study for Ayurveda and 6
years for studying for medicine. Actually
his brother-in-law and his sister have
been practicing Ayurveda. One is in
Holland and the another in the US. It is a
family tradition, my younger son started
studying Ayurveda last year we have
another son whose wife is an Ayurveda
doctor also.”
Richard: “What is Ayurveda?”
Richard: “Why did you setup a clinic in
Spain?”
Kalpana: “I realised it is very popular in
the West, so if we can give a little bit of
our knowledge to the people here to
live a good and lead a better life, then
that is how we can help.”
Kalpana: “It’s Ayurveda, a lifestyle
basically.”
