“Then I was sitting having a cup of tea
with my friend and we were talking
about some stuff and she said
something which I suddenly felt my
energy inside react too... it was almost
like an explosion inside of me. At the
same time, she grabbed hold of the
kettle to pour some hot water into a
mug to make tea, and just as she did,
the element in the kettle suddenly
burst into flames!”
“And I was thinking, OMG!!! I am
setting Spain alight!!”
Anne: “Well I have no idea if you did,
but I will just make sure I'll move my
phone to a safe distance.”
“It doesn't matter what sense you
make of anything. It's just that you
have the choice to make it positive or
negative. You could be a Muslim who
thinks that all women should be stoned
to death for adultery if they are raped
by their Uncle. Or you can be a Muslim
who believes in love and compassion.
Whose got the better life?”
Richard: “It's amazing what happens
when you focus on love?”
Anne: “Yes, whose got the happier life?
Whose the person whose got the most
potential to be adding some value to
the world? Who is the person who gets
loads of abuse and insults for being
different and doing something new, but
will get up in the next morning and do it
again?”
“And that is the thing, that even if
someone does say something horrible
to you or does something horrible to
you, the reaction you have inside, is
generated by you and only you! You
can have the choice to take it on board
and feel hurt and wounded, or you can
just say 'That is their thought.'
Richard: “Yes, you see this on social
media a lot with people.”
Anne: “Yes, if you need a high approval
rate and want everyone to like you all
the time, then why? What for? Do you
like everyone all the time?”
“Why should you be like Jesus Christ reincarnated? I
mean he got freaking crucified!”
“And he was an alright bloke!”
“So there has to be a bit of realism in it. We are all
thinking judgemental thoughts all the time about
people. It is just part of human nature. We all do it.
Some of us are more judgemental than others. Some
of us act on our judgements, others just let them go.
So the guy with the really bad dreams for example, I
told him that he has no control of those thoughts and
it doesn't mean that they are real. It is just activity in
your brain that is taking some possibilities and it is
putting them together. Now the more that you worry
about it, the more powerful those images become.
Your mind pops them up again. Ever since this
awareness, he has never had them since!”
Richard: “So what happens when you have really
positive and beautiful dreams?”
Anne: “Well cool!! Keep them going! And say 'OMG!!
I am so lucky!”
Richard: “Yes, I am. I feel blessed actually because
they are manifesting into my reality?”
“So why should they like you?”
