Richard: “Yes, I get that. To me I place
value in the number 13. So every 13th
day of the month, I celebrate the
'World Day of Interconnectedness'
with other like-minded people who
understand that we are all
interconnected.”
Anne: “When you tap into the joy of
other people's success, then that
means that you are always going to
find joy somewhere. I love to see my
clients transform! To see them
suddenly turn their lives around.”
Richard: “So who has inspired you with
your work?”
Anne: “Sidney Banks and the 3
Principles. The three principles are
basically to do with the relationship
between the Universal Mind (God or
interconnectivity), consciousness (an
awareness that that we have an
awareness of ourselves) and then the
relationship to our everyday thinking.
And of course, how our thinking
constructs our reality.”
“Now having done years of studying, I
became aware that they are all saying
the same thing! That is it!”
“So my practice really changed after
that point. So I still use hypnotherapy
for getting rid of things from the past.
Regression work. Being able to close
the door. It works really well.”
Richard: “What? You mean from past
lives?”
Anne: “No, most people struggle with
this life!! You can't explain it, you have
to experience it. You are are opening
up your subconscious mind.”
Richard: “What is your subconscious
mind?”
Anne: “It is the bit that knows what
things feel like, but isn't aware to point
it out. Your conscious mind is
constantly thinking. Your subconscious
is everything else that you have ever
possibly know that is there until you
bring it into your conscious mind.”
“So you remember who your best
friend was when you lived in a certain
street, you remember what your cat
was called when you were 9...”
Richard: “Ok, that is the subconscious mind.”
Anne: “Yes, it is just like a library at the back and you
go to this shelf to bring that information out. It is
always there, silent, until we want it”.
Richard: “And the conscious mind goes out and picks
whatever it needs from the subconscious mind?”
Anne: “Yes, oh look there is a flower and it's green.
(points to flower on desk) The subconscious mind
knows that it is there. But I am not paying attention to
it, because my conscious mind is paying attention to
you.”
“So it is there all the time. It is the part that gets us to
breathe, the part that reminds us we are hungry, it is
the bit that takes us to the toilet, it is the bit that
chugs along and does everything.”
“In regression work, we allow, what is called 'the
critical factor' in hypnosis, the bit that watches all the
time. It is the analytical part. It normally kicks in
around the age the 13 and that is when kids say, 'Hey
Mom, you are a liar!' or 'Dad, you are a hypocrite!'
Richard: “Father Christmas doesn't exist!”
