BACK TO BASICS HAIR COLOR SIMPLIFIED
Sunday : 1:00PM - 2:00PM
Monday : 2:00PM - 3:00PM
Tee Leo will help you understand the fundamentals of hair color.
Mastering the color wheel is the first step in comprehending
how hair color works. Learning the primary, secondary, and
tertiary colors is the first step to becoming a strong colorist.
The second step is to comprehend the level system. The level
system identifies colors starting from level 1 to a level 10 or
darkest to lightest. After learning step one and step two you
will be able to determine step 3 by recognizing the underlying
pigment (color). The underlying pigment is the most important
part for you to understand how the color wheel takes place.
This is where enhancement, neutralizing, or staying the same
will take place with the hair color. So come join the color class
for a better comprehension of the color world.
COLOR CORRECTION
Sunday : 10:30AM - 11:30AM
Monday : 10:30AM - 11:30AM
Color problems come up frequently simply because of a lack
of knowledge and understanding of color formulation. Many
stylists never consider color correction until the problem arises.
They never prepare for it. There aren’t any standard color
correction antidotes or list of solutions. It really depends on
the problem at hand. The best answer to color correction is
to know and understand complete “formulation”. The more
you know about how to formulate and to write formulas, the
more likely you are to be able to trouble shoot and correct
your color problems. We will discuss several problem areas
and determine the proper steps to fix them. So if you’re having
correction problems....don’t miss this class.
THERE’S ONLY ONE WAY TO COLOR HAIR
(FORMULATION IS THE WAY)
Sunday : 2:30PM - 3:30PM
Monday : 1:00PM - 2:00PM
It’s okay to bleach hair and tone with a semi permanent. It’s
okay to use semi permanent on all of your clients. It’s even
okay to use direct dyes with all the vibrant bright colors...
but none of that is considered complete hair coloring. Total
hair coloring happens when and only when you venture into
permanent coloring and explore the art of “formulation”.
9 out of 10 clients want a complete change...and the only
way to obtain a change is to go through a transition...and
the only way to go through transition is with a permanent
process. This requires a calculated skill and understanding of
how to successfully write formulas.
It’s strategic and it demands a lot of
“thinking” and “total concentration”.
It is a fact that if you don’t know how
to formulate...you don’t know hair
coloring. Chuck takes you step by
step through the entire formulation
process and guarantees that you will
know color when he’s finish.
QUALITY TOUCH
Sunday : 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Monday : 9:00AM - 4:00PM
Quality Touch Foil was founded in 1984 with the mission of
helping stylists do their best, most
efficient work. As one of the first to
introduce the rolled foil system in
the US, our goal was clear from day
one: help stylists save money. We
accomplished this by reducing the
amount of wasted foil and time by
eliminating the need for stylists to
pre-tear sheets. The durable design
of the Quality Touch dispenser
allowed stylists to maintain a
professional image, while avoiding
the need to struggle with a
disposable cardboard dispenser.
