Enhancing the competences of our HR<br />

professionals remains key to placing our<br />

employees at the helm of their careers.<br />

The launch of our Human Resources<br />

Information System (HRIS) at the end<br />

of 2017 is one example of how we made<br />

headway in this domain.<br />

Called <strong>Etex</strong> Talent, this platform supports<br />

<strong>Etex</strong> managers and HR professionals to<br />

optimally carry out aligned key people<br />

processes such as performance reviews and<br />

development plans. It also provides visibility<br />

into the organisational structure. The tool<br />

will be further developed as the principle<br />

platform that supports additional core<br />

people processes across the organisation,<br />

such as building effective succession<br />

pipelines and workforce analytics to improve<br />

organisational effectiveness.<br />

Our colleagues at our Santa Cruz facility showed their<br />

commitment and perseverance to understand the<br />

scientific phenomena causing a production problem<br />

that resulted in cracked plasterboards. Not only<br />

did they fix the problem without significant capital<br />

expenditure, they used the specific knowledge gained<br />

from the exercise to implement relevant standards and<br />

specific training plans to avoid future recurrence.”<br />
