JJ: Which rider do you consider to have influenced you the most and
how?
SM: I wouldn’t say any specific rider influenced me it was Mike and
Brandi Hanson that had the biggest impact on my riding and in life for
that matter. Mike definitely pushed me to my limits that made me what
I am today although his training methods were a little unorthodox at
times it really helped me get here. I remember Mike used to stand in
corners with sticks and smack my fingers if I was using the clutch to
much or he would be riding right behind me so if I wasn’t taking the
best lines he would take me out hahahaha
