of Food, Drinks and FUN as we raise critical funds to support pediatric<br />
cancer research! You will experience 6 unique stations, each one serving<br />
up a delicious bite from the one-of-a-kind Armadillo Palace menu that<br />
will be paired with a wine or craft beer. We will have live music and<br />
a silent auction. You will also hear from one of the oncologists from<br />
the Solid Tumor team at Texas Children’s Cancer Center on how our<br />
support has directly made an impact on her research to improve<br />
current treatment protocols for solid tumors and to ultimately find a<br />
cure for these cancers.<br />
The Laurel’s Army Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization,<br />
formed by a Cypress, Texas family whose daughter bravely fought and<br />
won, her battle with a rare cancerous solid tumor in 2010. Through<br />
this battle, we became aware of the severe lack of funding available<br />
for pediatric cancer research and institutions that care for these young<br />
warriors depend greatly on money raised by nonprofits like The Laurel’s<br />

Calling all kids! Join us for Messiah Lutheran Church’s Vacation Bible<br />
School - Shipwrecked - Rescued by Jesus, during the week of June<br />
11 th -15 th ! VBS is a weeklong interactive time for kids to grow in their<br />
faith. Children ages 3 years-old (potty trained) to 5 th grade are invited<br />
to join us each day from 9 AM to Noon. Each day at Shipwrecked VBS,<br />
kids travel through field-tested rotations that reinforce relevant Bible<br />
Points and immerse kids in new adventures. Every station is designed<br />
to reinforce the daily Bible Point in a hands-on, interactive way that<br />
keeps everyone engaged. Kids will begin their journey at Castaway<br />
Sing & Play with songs and spend each day at Bible Discovery, KidVid<br />
Cinema, Imagination Station, Ship Rec Games, Tropical Treats and<br />
Sail Away Sendoff.<br />
At Shipwrecked Vacation Bible School, kids experience God’s Word in<br />
surprising and unforgettable ways! Each day, leaders reinforce one<br />
simple Bible truth - which makes it easy for kids to remember and apply<br />
to real life! They will finish each day at Sail Away Sendoff. It is a week<br />
of fun and adventure reminding kids that Jesus carries you through<br />
life’s storms! All kids are invited to join us and spark their imagination<br />
at Shipwrecked VBS! Parents are invited to register their children online<br />
