CAF Houston Wing’s Warbird<br />

Weekend and Open House<br />

On Saturday and Sunday, <strong>April</strong> 14 th & 15 th from10 AM until 5<br />

PM, those big, old airplanes with the mighty round engines will<br />

be flying again as the Commemorative Air Force’s Houston Wing<br />

presents its <strong>2018</strong> Warbird Weekend and Open House at Hangar B-5,<br />

West Houston Airport. Get up close and feel the prop wash and hear<br />

the noise as radial engines power these historic WWII aircraft. See<br />

some of the old planes your father, grandfather or grandmother<br />

learned to fly for World War II.<br />

Admission is $15 per CAR at the gate or $10 per car if ticket is<br />

purchased in advance online (check our website or facebook page<br />

for details) and earns you a day of aircraft and military vehicle<br />

displays, museum exhibits and fun.<br />

Warbird rides will also be available for purchase.<br />

Food, drinks, gifts and souvenirs will be available. Come on out<br />

and honor America. The Commemorative Air Force is a non-profit<br />

national patriotic organization whose membership includes<br />

people from all backgrounds sharing an interest in aviation and<br />

The West Houston Airport is located at 18000 Groschke Rd., 2 miles<br />

north of I-10 and between Hwy. 6 and Barker Cypress, will be the<br />

place to visit on Saturday and Sunday, <strong>April</strong> 14 th & 15 th from 10<br />

AM until 5 PM.<br />
