CULINARY PROGRAMS JAMES BEARD AWARDS For the third straight year, Chicago was the host city of the James Beard Awards, held May 1, 2017 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Congratulations to Rick Bayless and Topolobampo, recipient of the Outstanding Restaurant Award. Congratulations to Chef Sarah Grueneberg of Monteverde, recipient of the Best Chef, Great Lakes Award.
