his recent
experiences
in the Subud
World.
“ I have decided
in the past year to
awaken my curiosity
of Subud, by helping
wherever I could
and by following
my latihan with
sincerity. ”
It is quite an experience
to join the venture that is
the Subud organization.
Ever since the Zone 3 & 4
gathering in Poland, followed
by the Basara Youth gathering
in Indonesia, a whole new side
of Subud has unveiled itself to
me. As an organization, you
witness an ongoing growth filled
with excitement and dreams,
but also fears and doubts. We
wish to accomplish so much
but want to make sure it comes
from the right place.
I have decided in the past
year to awaken my curiosity of
Subud, by helping wherever
I could and by following my
latihan with sincerity. This led
me to a beautiful conclusion:
Subud is growing with harmony
and humility all over the world,
and it’s so great to be a part of
that, even in my small country
of 12 members.
Groups are taking responsibility
and action all around the
world, to move towards a
self-sustainable and inspiring
organization. Africa is now
contributing an important part
of their budget to the WSA,
Youth in Indonesia put together
a major event in 2016, Spain
has managed to motivate and
support all its members to
attend the World Congress,
South America has had an
increasing number of gatherings
in the past 4 years... and that’s
just a few things I am aware
of. The truth is, our sense of
sharing, listening and latihan
has just been really great!

I am convinced there is a
movement going on, where
members of all ages are working
hand in hand on a subtle step
towards oneness and the World
Congress is all about getting
this engine running! To help us
take action into the World by
supporting the development
of our inner Wings, but also
concretely investing in the
creation of projects that may
arise from the World Congress!
Now, we are focusing on getting
as many people as possible to
come to this event in Freiburg.
