FASHION STORES CATERING
FOR GROWING CUSTOMER DIVERSITY
As The Hub Hornby has undergone developments and
improvements over the last few years, this exciting shopping
centre has been growing its fashion offering to cater for the
increasing diversity of customers that shop there.
The fashion stores offer styles for all ages and fashion tastes.
They include Caroline Eve, Jeanswest, K &K Fashion, Max
and Pagani, as well as department store, Farmers. Exciting
streetwear and special items can be found in Bob Style and
Cosmic, while for the active fitness followers Stirling Sports
has a great range of active wear and shoes.
Current footwear retailers include Dowsons and Moda Bella,
with Ziera Shoes about to commence fitting out a new store.
Three of New Zealand’s most high-profile jewellery retailers,
Michael Hill, Pascoes and Silvermoon, have outlets at The Hub,
offering an extensive range of styles and prices. A new jeweller,
Glamlette, will also shortly be joining The Hub family with a
great range of contemporary and classic jewellery.
Retailers spoken to by Star Media find The Hub a great place
for doing business.
“We love being located in the heart of Hornby,” Adam Dowson
of Dowsons Shoes says.
“We have a loyal base of customers that we know well. We
focus on contemporary design from quality brands at stunning
value. Our latest winter lines, many from exclusive suppliers,
are in-store now.”
Since Cosmic opened just before Christmas 2016, manager
Robbie Brown says he has seen how much the west is growing,
and that it’s bringing a much wider range of customers to the
store.
“We have kids from Hornby High coming for their fashion stuff
right through to retirees coming to have a look.”
Robbie says he loves being in The Hub, as it has a relaxed atmosphere
and feels like a community with the other retailers.
Manager of Pascoes, Richelle Hynes-Wootton, says the mall
environment creates the important passing foot traffic, which
is “good for sales”.
“We’re doing well here. We have quite a wide range with good
price points.”
Store manager of Farmers, Chris McLachlan, says the store
offers a wide range of on-trend quality apparel and accessories
for the whole family.
“We are proud to be a fashion retailer in The Hub and will
continue to bring the latest trends to our customers each
season,” Chris says.
“Ensure you’re ready for the cooler months ahead with Farmers’
autumn/winter collection. Brace for the cold with musthave
knitwear, layering essentials including merino, or the latest
coats and jackets for the whole family.”
