Psoriasis
One of the most popular questions we’re asked is
‘how to I get rid of my Psoriasis?’
Psoriasis is a skin condition marked by red, itchy,
scaly patches. It’s technically the over duplication
of cells. However it can be so much more to many
people and can affect their self confidence.
Unfortunately there is no miracle cure but there
are lots of natural ways that can help you manage
the condition and significantly reduce the
appearance of Psoriasis, hopefully to a point where
you don’t even notice it.
Types of Psoriasis...
There are many different types of Psoriasis
including Guttate, Inverse, Pustular, Erythrodermic,
Psoriatic arthritis and Plaque Psoriasis which is
the most common. It usually appears as red or
pink plaques of raised, thick, scaly skin. However
it can also appear as small flat bumps. It doesn’t
sound pleasant I know and can be painful and
uncomfortable in many cases.
Most commonly affecting the skin on the elbows,
knees, and scalp, although it can appear anywhere
on the body. I’ve often had small patches on my
eyebrows as it tends to appear in areas with less
flesh.
Do you have Psoriasis?...
The obvious choice when you find unusual
patches on your skin is to visit the doctors and
we absolutely advise you to get a professional
diagnosis. However don’t feel that a prescription
is your only option as the creams offered can
be effective for a short time but are often filled
with steroids which will actually thin the skin,
