newspaper reported that a reserve<br />

when he was struck by a rock thrown<br />
during a crowded protest as police<br />
<strong>of</strong>ficers were attempting to serve a<br />
warrant. <strong>The</strong> reserve police <strong>of</strong>ficer<br />
fully recovered, and the perpetrators<br />
were booked into jail for assault.<br />
In 1971, Deputy Chief Leabo was<br />
