Leadership<br />
A person that is important to me is my 5th grade teacher Mrs. Jackson. She<br />
is important to me because she was my teacher, and she is very nice. She would<br />
hug me at the end of the day, and a lot of the assignments and stuff she had me do<br />
was fun. The projects we did in her class were fun.<br />
I have exhibited leadership with my friends in the past <strong>by</strong> helping them do<br />
stuff. I stood up for a friend who was being bullied. I am taking leadership on my<br />
science project with Robert <strong>by</strong> making sure we don’t get distracted, planning when<br />
we meet up, and buying supplies. I want to grow my leadership skills <strong>by</strong> helping<br />
more people. My mom calls this style of leadership servant leadership. I want to<br />
help my friends learn how to do stuff.<br />
I think it is more important to be respected, rather than popular. Respect is<br />
more important than being popular because when you’re popular, you’re not<br />
necessarily being respected. Popular means that lots of people know you, but they<br />
may not respect you. For example, if you’re a singer, people may know who you<br />
are, but that doesn’t mean they like you. As an adult I think respect will still be<br />
more important because you want people to think you do a good job, and you<br />
definitely want your boss to respect you so they won’t be mean to you or fire you.<br />
Some people think it is important to be popular in middle school, so they<br />
don’t feel lonely. There’s been a lot of problems with kids feeling lonely and<br />
