One moment in my life that I am pleased about was when I helped two kids
in my neighborhood catch their dog who had run away. I don’t know who they
were, but I am happy I helped them. They were having a hard time catching the
dog and couldn’t catch it so by me blocking the dog on one side, it helped them
grab it. This makes me happy because I like animals and I like to help people.
Another thing that made me proud was getting into Hyde Park. I really wanted to
go to Hyde Park because it has stuff that other schools don’t have that are fun and
help me learn, especially about science. This is important to me because I want to
be a chemical engineer. Since Hyde Park has classes like Robotics and Future
Cities, I can learn a lot more about things that might help my education. So I was
really happy when I was accepted in the lottery to get in, and proud when I passed
the exams and was accepted.
Just recently I won second in the Beal Bank Nevada Regional Science and
Engineering Fair at The Cox Pavilion. Also, last year I tied for second place in the
science fair at Goynes. My project was researching how long blood will last
samples from different people and record what happened to them over time. In
Fourth grade, I got the Awesome Gladiator award. The Awesome Gladiator award
is for students who struggle in the first part of the year, but get good grades and
