sharing is a good thing because it shows that you care about others and that you’re
willing to help them. I think that sharing also might help people to think that
you’re a caring person and want to be nice, like you.
Mother Knows Best.
This has affected me by reminding me to do what my mom says. I do
believe it’s true because when she has said stuff in the past, she’s been right. For
example, when I was in 3rd grade, I wanted a pair of Heelys. They are shoes with
wheels in the heels. My mom said it was a waste of money because I wouldn’t
wear them enough for it to be worth the cost, so she wouldn’t buy them for me.
She said if I wanted them bad enough, I could buy them with my own money. I
bought them. I wore them a few times, but I didn’t use the wheel part. They were
expensive -- maybe $120. This was most of the money in my savings. My mom
was right that it was a waste of money to buy them.
If You Can’t Say Something Nice, Don’t Say Anything At All.
To me, this means that I shouldn’t say mean things to people. I think people
should follow this because when you say mean things, you can hurt people’s
feelings. When you say something, you can’t take it back, so you have to choose
wisely what to say. It is also not just what you say, but how you say it. The tone
someone uses can make words hurt more. Or someone can use words that wouldn’t
