everyone likes to work for money. But most do work for money at a job that they<br />

like that also helps people.<br />

The first job my mom gave me money for was when I was in kindergarten,<br />

for being well-behaved. Whenever I filled out a chart of 25 well-behaved stickers,<br />

my mom would give me $5. Whenever I misbehaved my mom or nanny would<br />

peel off a sticker. I remember that I would cry every time a sticker got pulled off.<br />

Uncle Charles gives Natalie $5 every time she massages his back. I don't like to<br />

massage people very much, so I don't do it a lot. My mom gives Natalie and I<br />

money for good grades. $2 for ‘A’s, $1 for ‘B’s, -$2 for ‘C’s, grounded for a day<br />

for ‘D’s, and grounded for a week for ‘F’s. I don't like the grounding part and the<br />

negative money part but the rest is good.<br />

From doing work I have learned what work/jobs I like to do and don't like to<br />

do and that most jobs are hard and only a few are easy. You have to deal with the<br />

things you can't avoid and have to do, even if you don't want to or don’t like to do<br />

them, like chores.<br />

When I grow up I want to be a chemical engineer and make new materials. I<br />

want to do this because I love to make things and mix stuff together. The work<br />

setting I would best fit in would be in a big lab/building with lots of materials,<br />

chemicals, and assistants. The assistants would be helping me with all of my<br />

experiments and tests. To be able to do all this I will need to train/study in:<br />
