ENGAGED COUPLES
lijah and Katrina met through mutual friends at Miller’s
E Ale House. After talking with her, Elijah left thinking
he would not speak with Katrina again. But, he was
wrong. Katrina contacted Elijah later that night through
Facebook. Katrina said that she enjoyed talking with him
and confessed that she was having a bad night. Talking to
Elijah helped her smile.
A little more than four years later, Elijah proposed. “After
surprising me by coming to Boca Raton from Orlando,
Elijah surprised me yet again, with a dinner for my 21st
birthday with our friends. At the end of the night, he sprung
one more surprise on me by pretending to read a poem
in front of everyone, which turned into him getting on one
knee and popping the question,” Katrina said. “I was in
shock at first, and I thought that he was joking, but when I
finally realized what happened, I said ‘yes’.”

The couple spends time together by going to the movies
and dinner. They enjoy working out, going to salsa classes,
reading, discussing Bible verses, and taking walks. Elijah
and Katrina also like to try new things and go on road trips.
They plan to honeymoon somewhere out of the country.❤
