At the start of Word War II, the luxury liner Cap Arcona was transformed into
a floating Nazi barracks. In time, the ship
became a concentration camp. The ship was
attacked and sunk, killing more than 4,000
prisoners; only 350 survived. The death toll
on the Cap Arcona was three times that of
those who died on the Titanic. The story
tells how this disaster happened and how it
was pushed aside in history.
