Cullen Wines Named
“One of the 9 Most Beautiful
Biodynamic Wineries in the
World”
In honour of Earth Day in April,
Architectural Digest dug up the premier
aesthetically compelling natural
vineyards on the planet, from South
Africa to Oregon, naming Cullen
Wines as its only Australian selection.
Cullen Wines is a certified biodynamic,
carbon neutral, naturally powered
and sustainable estate located in the
Wilyabrup wine region of Margaret
River, Western Australia. It is one of the
first wineries established in the area,
the first vines were planted in 1971. Its
founder members were Dr Kevin Cullen
and his wife Diana Cullen. The winery
is now under the guidance of daughter
Vanya Cullen, Managing Director and
chief winemaker. The winery remains a
family owned business.
The Cullen Wines success is founded
on sustainability, integrity, and quality,
with biodynamics being the backbone
to produce world-class wines. Cullen’s
minimal intervention philosophy bring
the purest “sense of place” from the soil
to the grape, to the glass.
