scented herbs, medicinal, etc. Label your
container with a theme.
Section 41 - HONEY
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. All honey and beeswax must have been produced by the exhibitor within a 15 month period prior to entry.
2. All honey must have been gathered and ripened in a natural way by honey bees.
3. All extracted honey entries must be exhibited in 1 lb. glass or clear plastic jars.
4. All chunk and finely granulated honey entries must be exhibited in glass or clear plastic jars of 1lb. or more capacity.
5. All comb honey entries must be wrapped in clear cellophane or be placed in window cartons.
Prizes: 1st - $4.00 2nd - $3.75 3rd - $3.50

through the University of Maryland Extension, Cecil County Office,
in “4-H Talk”- June/July edition, or online at http://extension.umd.
edu/cecil-county. MUST HAVE A TOTAL OF 5 PARTICIPANTS
FOR EVENTS TO OCCUR.
2. 4-H youth must pre-enter for the state contest unless otherwise stated.
