Bier is back: Rotary Biergarten<br />

Raise a pint to the popular Rotary Club of<br />

<strong>Haddonfield</strong> Biergarten fundraiser, Sat Jun 9 from<br />

4 to 8pm. The event will take place, rain or shine, at<br />

beautiful Haddon Lake Park, located at 13th Ave and<br />

S. Park Ave in Haddon Heights. The last Biergarten<br />

was held in 2016.<br />

Admission is $50 for adults 21 and over and<br />

includes an all-you-can-eat-and-drink authentic<br />

Bavarian-style buffet provided by Philadelphia’s<br />

Brauhaus Schmitz restaurant, and German beer<br />

on tap. A live band will perform throughout the<br />

afternoon and evening. This family-friendly event<br />

includes games and activities for children. Tickets<br />

for ages 12-20 are $25 and include all the food<br />

options plus soft drinks. Children under 12 are free.<br />

In addition to all the traditional foods, including<br />

bratwurst and roast pork sandwiches with all the<br />

fixin’s, there will be a kids menu with hamburgers<br />

and hot dogs, and several gluten-free food and<br />

drink options. Tickets and sponsorships can be<br />

purchased at haddonfieldrotary.org.<br />

Proceeds from the Rotary Biergarten will support<br />

charitable projects such as packing meals for Feed<br />

My Starving Children, vocational programs and<br />

scholarships to give a hand up to underserved<br />

youth in our region, sewing machines for women<br />

in Rwanda to start microbusinesses, learning<br />

programs for children in Camden; and many others.<br />
