Personnel also studied Greenville County EMS orders for post structure fire vitals on firefighters, as well as the physical and chemical properties of ethylene oxide. Familiarization training on 47 new MSA G1 Air Packs is in progress on each shift prior to the units going in service. The department participated in 13 fire prevention events throughout the month, including fire safety talks at the Ray Hopkins Senior Center and Mauldin Elementary, 8 Miracle League events, the city’s Memorial Day event and a Sunland Distribution event. The Fire Department reached approximately 225 children and adults in the month of May.
