My dragon
I search my mind, what’s wrong?
Where comes this welling sense of doom?
Inside the cavity the pain churned.
The fear, the hurt lunged and sunk
I miss you.
I want you still.
I’m glad you’ve gone
mostly my dragon’s now securely chained,
in links of lace.
With the telly and crisps and his dog called Dill
