headlong onward <strong>in</strong> an endless l<strong>in</strong>e of flash<strong>in</strong>g swords,<br />
blazoned suns, and wav<strong>in</strong>g banners, state umbrellas,<br />
thrones, and canopies, and tower<strong>in</strong>g above all the<br />
tdbfdSi framed of the most elegant shapes of Saracenic<br />
architecture, glitter<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> silver and green and gold,<br />
and rock<strong>in</strong>g backwards and forwards <strong>in</strong> high air, like<br />
great ships npon the roll<strong>in</strong>g sea, with the rapid move-<br />

<strong>in</strong>to the body of the procession, howl<strong>in</strong>g and shriek<strong>in</strong>g<br />
like a flight of baffled fiends.<br />
