SYNERGY is the pseudonym of keyboards player Larry FAST, who played with NEKTAR, Peter GABRIEL and many others. His albums are all based entirely on<br />
electronics, and offer a wide scope of styles. "Electronic Realizations For Rock Orchestra" opens the discography in 1975, and remains one of his best works ever.<br />
Then came "Sequencer" (1976), "Cords" (1978), "Games" (1979), "Audion" (1981), "Computer Experiments" (1981), "The Jupiter Menace" (1982) & "Metropolitan<br />
Suite" (1987). "Reconstructed Artifacts" is a new collection of recordings made in January and February 2002 of classic pieces from the Seventies and Eighties,<br />
newly performed on digital synthesizers and recorded digitally.<br />

After kicking off their new label A-Wave with the acclaimed re-release of their 1995 classic "Alphawave" and the re-release of their two best selling and critically<br />
acclaimed albums "Power Of Seven" and "System Express", SYSTEM 7 (Steve HILLAGE & Miquette GIRAUDY, previously of the legendary Seventies outfit<br />
GONG.) are launching their brand new "Seventh Wave" album at the end of September 2001. It's an eclectic selection of tracks that blends techno, progressive<br />
house, electronica and trance with lush chilled out atmospheric grooves, ethnic influences as well as Progressive rock. "Manik Shamanik" kicks things off with its<br />
atmospheric synth lines, electronic wobbly sounds and ethereal guitar riffs. "High Plains Drifter" is the first single, throbbing beats and bassline with a deep and<br />
moody tribal feel to it. This title has BEDROCK and Danny TENAGLIA written all over it. Watch out for "The Voyager" and "Purple Mixes" ! "Seven O'Clock" starts off<br />
atmospheric and ambient and it slowly builds up into a hypnotic percussive groove with a strong Eastern Ethnic influence to it. "Soft Rain" is a collaboration between<br />
SYSTEM 7 and THE ORB's Alex PATTERSON. On a downbeat breakbeat style "Soft Rain" is a gem of a tune full of electronic emotion followed up by the balearic<br />
bliss of "Sal Del Mar" with its subtle percussion and piano chords. On a completely different tip, "Varkala" lifts things right up with what can be described as acid<br />
techno with Progressive and trancy elements. "The Abyss" is a sublime downbeat journey of lush atmospheric strings and piano melodies and lastly "Chiringuito" is<br />
another amazing laidback balearic groove to finish off a great album. SYSTEM 7 need no introduction, having garnered a reputation as one of the dance scene's true<br />
stalwarts, releasing six groundbreaking albums and an acclaimed album of remixes over the last ten years. Heavily influenced by the techno underground that<br />
emerged in the Eighties in Detroit and Chicago, along with FUNKADELIC, KRAFTWERK and other German experimental bands SYSTEM 7 formed in 1989 to bring<br />
their own unique sound to the foray. SYSTEM 7 were pioneers from the beginning, influencing a whole generation of artists, and their eponymous debut album<br />
(Ten/Virgin) is still regarded and one of the first classic albums to emerge from house music scene. The band has always pre-empted dance music's ever evolving<br />
genres and this is reflected in the stellar list of artists they have collaborated with including: Derrick MAY, Paul OAKENFOLD, Marshall JEFFERSON, Carl CRAIG,<br />
THE ORB, YOUTH, Laurent GARNIER and Talvin SINGH. Steve HILLAGE is also a much respected producer in his own right. Over the last year, the band have<br />
been recording new material in their West London studio, playing live in Japan, Mexico, Australia and Great-Britain (Including in their awesomely received<br />
performance at Glastonbury 2000), and most importantly masterminding the launch of their very own label A-Wave.<br />

TANGERINE DREAM is the German pioneer of repetitive and airy music founded in 1967 by keyboardist-guitarist Edgar FROESE. He then hired drummerkeyboardist<br />
Klaus SCHULZE and violinist-bass player Conrad SCHNITZLER from their first album "Electronic Meditation" on. After an impressive number of albums<br />
and line-up changes (among which we could find Florian FRICKE, Steve JOLIFFE, Christopher FRNAKE and Michael HOENIG..), the band remains active today as<br />
a duo made of Jerome FROESE, his father and various one-time guests. "The Dream Encores" compiles numerous encores of concerts given between 1986 and<br />
1997. "The Hollywood Years" includes previously unreleased soundtracks. "Tournado" is the witness of a concert given in Poland on the 23rd April 1997, "Valentine<br />
Wheels" that of a show on the same year at the Shepherds Bush Empire. Issued in 1999, "What a Blast" is aimed at illustrating a film about the collision of enormous<br />
buildings throughout the world. "Tang-Go" is a double album that gathers 24 recordings made between 1990 and 2000. "Great Wall of China" is the soundtrack of the<br />
film with the same name.<br />
