Craig Woolard. The night’s breathtaking fireworks finale was a perfect end to a wellloved concert series. Meanwhile, the Mauldin Farmers Market, sponsored by Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, has generated positive interest from vendors and shoppers alike, with 40 vendors providing fresh produce, meat, dairy, desserts, soaps, household goods, decorations, dog treats and more. The Market takes place every Tuesday evening through August, 5 to 8PM, and also features live music, food trucks, and beverages by Growler Haus. Make Music Day was a success despite the rain this year. Hosted by Musical Innovations, NAMM, the Mauldin Chamber, and the Cultural Center, this event brought a sizable crowd who gathered to learn a few chords on the ukulele. OPEN AUDITIONS AUGUST 25 9AM The Mauldin Youth Theatre will hold open auditions for youth in 4th- 12th grade on August 25th at 9AM. No prior experience is necessary and there is no fee to audition or to participate in productions. The show will run for six performances from November 2nd-4th and 9th- 11th. More information can be found online at mauldinculturalcenter.org. Cultural Attendance The Mauldin Youth Theatre’s third production will be Shrek: The Musical, Jr. in November. Open auditions will be held August 25th for 4th to 9th graders. Those interested in participating can visit mauldinculturalcenter.org/auditions. 170 2,263 Development & Annexation Staff held more than 20 meetings with various development groups to discuss projects, some of which will be taken to City Council for consideration in the next month. BridgeWay Station continues to attract interest; Jackson Marketing, Motorsports, & Events announced plans to move into the development.
