Assessment<br />

• Before a student enters the program all records are<br />

reviewed by the interdisciplinary team. The family is<br />

interviewed and observed interacting with the child.<br />

• When a child enters the program, the interdisciplinary<br />

team evaluates the student based on the FEAS (this is<br />

video taped for documentation), sensory and motor<br />

questionnaires and batteries, academic assessments,<br />

specialized programs (e.g., Lindamood Bell programs,<br />

Thinking Goes to School, etc.)<br />

• The student is also observed in the classroom to<br />

evaluate their ability to participate, interact,<br />

communicate and think.
