SERVICES<br />
<strong>Selwyn</strong> District Council is<br />
seeking expressions of interest<br />
from suitably qualified parties<br />
to provide health/regulatory<br />
services to assist the Council<br />
in meeting the obligations of<br />
the legislative requirements<br />
under which it operates and<br />
provide a high level of service<br />
to its customers. The primary<br />
legislative requirements include<br />
the Health Act 1956, the Food<br />
Act 2014, the Hazardous<br />
Substances and New Organisms<br />
Act 1996, the Local Government<br />
Act 2002 and the Resource<br />
Management Act 1991. The<br />
Council will select and negotiate<br />
with individuals/contractors who<br />
fulfil the requirements sought<br />
and who are cost competitive.<br />
