12 th BDIZ EDI Curriculum Implantology to start in November 2010
Top-level Implantological Training
“Practical exercises on human specimens and a relaxed and congenial atmosphere helped make this Curriculum a success.
The hands-on workshops were excellently prepared, and the content of the course was immensely better than that offered by
other providers.” These and similar observations were heard from attendees of the 11 th Curriculum Implantology, who had success-
fully mastered their first step on the way to Certified Expert in Oral Implantology status. Participants appreciated the agenda
itself, but also the selection of speakers and the fact that a significant part of the Curriculum consisted of practical exercises.
The organizers received special praise for fostering an atmosphere of open exchange of discussions, both within the group of
participants and with the speakers and presenters. No questions remained unanswered, and each speaker shared his or her
own personal views on a variety of topics covering the entire field of oral implantology.
The BDIZ EDI Curriculum Implantology appeals not
only to young dentists and to newcomers to oral
implantology, but the modular design of the Curriculum
makes it particularly interesting to dentists who
perform implant surgery only occasionally but want
to make sure their treatment rests on solid ground.
The Curriculum allows its successful graduates to
master even difficult indications and to address
potential complications successfully.
Important criteria
The BDIZ EDI Curriculum Implantology can look back
on a long history. Since the Curriculum series was
inaugurated in 2004, more than 270 attendees have
participated in the Curricula held in Cologne and on
Fuerteventura. But it is not the numbers alone that
indicate the success of these Curricula. In addition
to the Curriculum’s overall approach, which is scientifically
sound and at the same time eminently practical
in outlook, it is the modular design that attracts
